Weekend Camps

The weekend had a number of activities as regards health services. One group camped at Nakawa, close to Makerere University Business School and had 308 clients tested for Hepatitis B.

The other group camped at Life Church Kawuku in Entebbe with other partners invited by Pr. Kenneth Nsamba. A number of services were provided like Hepatitis testing and vaccination by AAR, HIV, nutrition and cancer screening by Mildmay. We majored in Sicklecell screening and screened 187 clients of whom 20% are carriers.
