KAWOLO HUB TO REGAIN FULL CAPACITY BY APRIL

As the Uganda National Health Laboratory Services of the Ministry of Health continues with routine support supervision, our spot light this week has been on Mukono and Kawolo districts. A team from the Ministry’s top Management led by the Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine visited Mukono Health Centre IV and Kawolo Hospital – currently under renovation and expansion – to assess the operations of the two hubs, identify any possible gaps and devise means to address them. The team established that the Mukono hub is operating well while the Kawolo hub will be restored to full capacity by April 2019, upon completion of the ongoing construction works, which now stand at 93%.
