Parallel SPARS Training for DLFPs, LSTs, and RLFPs in Jinja

With reference to eNotice Board article of 18th November 2013 that featured in Vol 3 issue 2-3, “Pilot testing of the SPARS tool”, CPHL SURE program staff conducted a training from 19th January 2014 to 1st February 2014.

Over 40 people participated in this training that was held in Jinja including; Regional Lab Focal persons (RLFP), Lab focal persons for IPs, and DLFPs for Masaka, Rakai and Moyo which are part of the pilot districts.

In this activity of capacity building for laboratory persons in Uganda, the RLFPs will supervise the DLFPs and LSTs who will do the actual assessment, supervision and mentorship at facility level.
