UNAIDS recommended 90-90-90 targets which include having 90% of all the client on ART achieve and maintain viral load suppression by the year 2010. Ministry of Health adopted WHO guidelines of 2013 making viral load testing the recommended test for monitoring treatment success of patients on ART. The country started the roll out of viral load monitoring in 2014 and to-date all the districts are now covered. The viral load guidelines have been reviewed and updated in view of the recent WHO guidelines and operational standards to achieve Viral load suppression

To this effect, Ministry of Health/Central Public Health Laboratories (CPHL) with support from Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Support (METS) has organised a Training of Trainers workshop for Viral Load

The purpose of this communication to request you to attend the workshop which will take place at Kalya Courts, FortPortal FROM 4TH-9TH July 2016

The COPs and the EDs of the concerned organizations are requested to nominate and faciliate a clinical advisor and a Lab advisor to participate in this Training workshop
