Launch of Electronic Lab SPARS Database
On 22nd November 2017, UNHLS in collaboration with the USAID/Uganda Health Supply Chain Project officially launched the electronic Lab SPARS database.
The online-based e-tool which is hosted on the UNHLS servers is now the latest UNHLS dashboard that will allow Lab SPARS supervisors across the country to instantly submit data collection tools, easily analyze data and provide prompt feedback to stakeholders. The roll out followed an extensive computer training exercise that started on 13th November 2017 at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi where all 42 Lab SPARS Supervisors;
- Received new Lenovo Yoga 11e ThinkPad Laptops
- Received internet modems loaded with internet bundles
- Were trained on basic computer use and maintenance
- Trained on use of the electronic Lab SPARS database
